Well, I've taken the plunge and applied for a table at the artist alley of Daisho Con. Hopefully it will be accepted, since I bought a bunch of stuff to make things for it. Haha. But I guess if it's not, I can hold over all the stuff to try another con's artist alley.
What are my things? My cross stitch items, which have all sold out on my easy store at the moment (working on making more). My Japan-inspired jewelry (Yen coin earrings, fan art shrinkydink jewelry, and origami earrings). And a new thing: 2.25' pinback buttons! I finally splurged and bought a button machine. I've been eyeing them for a while now, and I saw they were on sale, so....
I'm working on drawing more chibi characters for button making. I hope they are more popular than my anti-self-confidence says they are/will be. I know my Steampunk Sora is very popular, so maybe I will finagle a button-version of the image. I was toying with the idea of selling prints, but for some reason I'm more hesitant to do that than anything else. It doesn't make much sense, but there it is. I think mostly I'm worried about finding a good printing service, and how well my image file will translate to print... I hear the print service here on DevArt is good, but I've never used it and I don't quite know how it works. More investigation is needed.
